Going To Transplant!

Hi!

Dan and I spoke with Dr Davies from Cinci yesterday and it looks like we will be heading to transplant the 2nd or 3rd week in Jan. We are waiting to hear back from the donor to make sure that this date is ok with them. Hopefully, we will hear something back by the end of the week so that we have a firm date in place and can continue to plan.

At this point we go when the donor is available, so it all depends on how cooperative the donor is.

What a wonderful gift this stranger has agreed to give! We couldn't ask for a better gift at Christmas!!!

I will update as soon as I have more info!

Keep Praying!!!

Wow!! It is amazing how God works. God's hand has been in this since the begining. He has protected Nick's life even by using a little screw that was missing in his helmet. It's overwhelming to me. I know that God has a plan for Nick's life. This is the next step in the journey. All we can do is pray and have faith. God is in control. We love you guys and we are here if you need anything at all.

It was overwhelming to hear this news from Dan today! And I agree...God has big plans for Nick! We ~ as always ~ are here for anything you need! We will continue to pray for Nick, your family and a donor giving an amazing gift. A 10 out of 10....WOW!

This is good news. Talked with Paula today who shared your updates with us. Please know that you are all in our prayers - for this decision, for the sugery, for the travel and for the things that you all do and will encounter every day that the rest of us take for granted.
