Well its been a week since I have posted. Nick continues do well overall.

He started complaining of soreness around his central line tonight. I will call the BMT unit tomorrow and see if they want us to bring him for a check up. Also, the nurse is coming to our apartment tomorrow am to pull labs again in the morn...more

Day +59

Day +59 and all is good in Cinci. We have had a pretty uneventful week with the exception of dealing with Cinci public schools. We are still waiting for them to send out a home bound instructor. The hospital actually had to call the superintendent to get the ball rolling.We ar...more

Day +54

Nick continues to do great. He was at the day hospital yesterday for some IV meds and a check up. His counts were a little low but not a concern for the Doctors.

Sandy made it home last night after being down here for several weeks straight. With the weather finally getting nice, there is a ton of work to be done....more

Nick's appt yesterday went well. All of his levels continue to be good and they doc's have no major concerns. They are still keeping a close eye on his kidney levels because the numbers have been slowly raising. They feel that that might be due to the cyclosporine and will adj...more
